Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you request a quote or place an order, why we need it, how long we keep it, and how you can ask us to change or delete it. We aim to collect as little as possible.

1. Who we are

nvqassignment.co.uk is an academic support service operating from 20 Farringdon Road, London EC1M 3HE, United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for information you provide to us. You can reach us at info@nvqassignment.co.uk.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to quote for and complete the support you ask for:

  • Contact details — your name, email address and, if you give it, a phone or WhatsApp number.
  • Qualification details — level, sector, unit codes, deadlines and any assessor feedback you choose to share.
  • Files you upload — unit specifications, briefs, drafts or feedback sheets.
  • Order and payment records — what you ordered and when. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not receive or store full card numbers.
  • Technical information — basic website analytics such as pages visited and approximate region, as described in our Cookie Policy.

Please do not send confidential workplace records, service users’ identifiable details, or login credentials for your centre or e-portfolio. If we receive them, we will ask you to confirm deletion and remove them from our systems.

3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your information to prepare quotes, assign a suitable specialist, complete and deliver the work, handle revision requests, take payment and answer support messages. Our lawful basis is performance of a contract with you, or our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you started. Where we send optional updates, we rely on your consent and you can withdraw it at any time.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to build marketing profiles.

4. Anonymisation of third parties

Where information you send names another person — an individual you support, a colleague, a manager or an assessor — we replace those names with initials or generic descriptors in anything we write, and we remove dates or details that could identify someone. This helps you meet your own workplace confidentiality obligations as well as ours.

5. Who has access

Access is limited to the specialist assigned to your order, the reviewer who checks it, and the support staff handling your messages. Everyone working with us is bound by a written confidentiality agreement. We use a small number of service providers — for example email, cloud storage and payment processing — who process data on our instructions under written terms.

We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so, for example in response to a valid legal request.

6. How long we keep it

Order files and drafts are retained for 90 days after delivery so that revisions remain possible, and are then deleted. Correspondence and basic order records are kept for up to two years for dispute resolution and accounting. You may ask us to delete your files sooner and we will do so unless we are required to retain something by law.

7. Security

Information is held on access-controlled systems with encrypted transfer, and access is restricted to the people described above. No online service can promise absolute security, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information we hold, and we review them periodically.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to have information deleted, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@nvqassignment.co.uk. We respond within 30 days.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in how we work or in applicable law. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised, and the current version always applies to new orders.

This page explains how we work and is provided for information only — it is not legal advice, and it does not affect any statutory rights you have under UK consumer law. If any part of it is unclear, email info@nvqassignment.co.uk and we will explain it in plain terms before you place an order.

Questions about your data?

Requests for access, correction or deletion are handled by our support desk and answered within 30 days.
