The UK Team Behind 7,800+ Accepted NVQ Portfolios
We are a small, deliberately specialist company: former NVQ assessors, internal quality assurers and sector practitioners who spend their working days on one thing only — helping UK learners turn real workplace competence into portfolio evidence an assessor can sign off. No essay factory, no subject-hopping writers, no automated drafting.

Our Record, In Numbers
Figures reviewed quarterly against our internal delivery log.
Started in 2017 by an Assessor Who Kept Reading the Same Rejected Evidence
Our founder spent eleven years assessing Health and Social Care and Business Administration qualifications across centres in London and the North West. The pattern never changed: learners who were genuinely excellent at their jobs kept having evidence returned — not because they lacked competence, but because nobody had ever shown them how competence is supposed to be written down.
A care assistant could de-escalate a distressed resident with real skill and then submit three lines that proved none of it. A site supervisor could run a faultless method statement briefing and describe it as "I told the lads what to do." The workplace practice was there. The evidence wasn't.
NVQ Assignment began in 2017 as an evening service for a handful of those learners. The approach was simple and has not changed since: talk to the learner about what they actually did, map it against the unit's performance criteria, and write it back in the professional language the assessment expects — grounded entirely in their own practice.
Nine years later we are a team of forty-one, still working the same way, still refusing the two shortcuts that would make us faster and worse: generic recycled templates, and generative AI. Both produce evidence that reads convincingly and proves nothing, and assessors have become very good at spotting them.
"We are not in the business of writing about your job. We are in the business of getting your job onto paper in a form your assessor can sign."
— Founder & Head of Quality, NVQ Assignment

What We Are Trying to Do, and the Rules We Keep to While Doing It
Our mission is narrow on purpose: make vocational assessment survivable for working adults who are doing the job well and struggling only with the paperwork. Five values keep that honest.
Evidence, not essays
Everything we produce is written to a performance criterion, in first person, from your practice. Academic flourish that proves nothing gets cut.
Your voice stays yours
We write at your level and in your register. A Level 2 account that reads like a Level 5 manager is a rejection waiting to happen.
No AI drafting, ever
A written policy, not a marketing line. Writers who breach it leave the panel. Machine text cannot describe a shift you actually worked.
Absolute discretion
Employer, service users, assessor, centre — anonymised in writing and never shared. Files are deleted on request.
One price, agreed first
Quoted before you commit, itemised, and unchanged afterwards. No urgency surcharges added quietly at checkout.
Teach, don't just deliver
Every delivery explains why it is structured as it is, so your next unit needs less help than the last one.
Assessors and Practitioners — Not General Academic Writers
Applicants pass a sector-knowledge interview, submit a graded sample against a real unit, and shadow a senior assessor for their first five orders. Roughly one in nine applicants joins the panel.

Lead Assessor — Health & Social Care
RN, PGCE, A1 Assessor Award
"Safeguarding evidence fails on specifics, not sentiment. Name the policy, the person you escalated to, the timeframe."
David M.
Construction & Site Management
NVQ L6 CM, SMSTS, CSCS Gold
"Site evidence lives or dies on the paperwork trail — RAMS, permits, toolbox talk records. I write to that trail."
Priya K.
Business Admin & Management (L4–L7)
MSc Management, CMI Level 7, IQA
"At Level 5 the assessor wants your reasoning and the outcome you measured — description alone stops passing."
Rachel A.
Childcare, Education & Early Years
EYPS, BA (Hons) Early Childhood
"EYFS language matters. Observation, planning, next steps — in that order, every time."
Why We Are Not an Essay Mill — and Why That Changes Your Result
Most academic writing services can produce a competent 2,000-word essay. Almost none can write a reflective account that survives an internal quality assurance sample. The two jobs share nothing but a word processor.
| What you're comparing | General essay service | NVQ Assignment |
|---|---|---|
| Who writes it | A generalist writer assigned by subject keyword | A qualified practitioner from your sector, matched to your unit |
| What it's written against | A topic and a word count | Your unit's performance criteria and range statements |
| Voice | Third-person academic prose | First-person professional reflection, calibrated to your level |
| Source material | Journals and generic web research | Your shifts, your workplace policies, your assessor's feedback |
| Quality check | Plagiarism scan | Criterion-by-criterion review by a second assessor |
| Failure mode | Reads well, evidences nothing, comes back marked "insufficient" | 95% accepted at first submission |
